Mes recherches portent sur les écosystèmes aquatiques, leurs interactions avec les facteurs de stress naturels et anthropiques ainsi que sur les changements environnementaux à long terme archivés dans les sédiments lacustres, en particulier dans les régions polaires. J’applique plusieurs indicateurs dans mes recherches, y compris les diatomées, les pigments photosynthétiques et la géochimie. Ces approches servent à mieux comprendre les effets sur les écosystèmes aquatiques des processus tels que les changements climatiques, la pollution et l’eutrophisation.
