Since 2013, the team led by Jean-Sébastien Moore, professor of biology at Université Laval, has been tracking the migrations of Arctic char in Cambridge Bay, Nunavut.

Using acoustic telemetry and environmental DNA, the team is studying how environmental changes affect the survival and habitat of this species, which is essential to the local food supply and economy.

A documentary aired on the educational television channel TFO highlights this research and the importance of the collaboration with the Cambridge Bay community and traditional knowledge.
