A PhD combining cartography, modelling and remote sensing is being offered under the supervision of Najat Bhiry (ULaval - Department of Geography) and the co-supervision of Alexandre Langois (UdeS), with a grant of $27,000/year for the period 2025-2029.

Financed by the Fonds des nouvelles initiatives de recherche et de sauvetage and carried out in collaboration with the Kativik Regional Government (Nunavik), this project aims to provide new perspectives on avalanche risk forecasting in Nunavik.
