Other: Class 5 driving licence
For office automation tools, practical knowledge of a recognized software program within each required office automation family will be considered sufficient.

The candidate will assist the coordinator of activities at the Centre d'études nordiques (CEN) research station in Whapmagoostui-Kuujjuarapik (a village on the east coast of Hudson Bay) with preparatory work for the researchers' field missions.
Duties and responsibilities:
This person will have a role in the logistics of the research, ensuring that the necessary equipment is appropriate, sufficient, in good condition and delivered to the teams at the right time. The preparation phase of fieldwork is essential. The person must also check the condition of the equipment on its return and ensure that it is properly stored. This logistical support is crucial to the smooth running of northern research. The person may be required to assist the Station Activities Coordinator with various awareness raising and outreach activities with young people in the community. The person will also be responsible for transporting and welcoming new visitors, as well as managing vehicles and space at the research station (minor maintenance, ensuring general cleanliness of the site, etc.). The person may be required to participate in scientific projects in remote research camps lasting several days.
The person will be required to undergo ATV and watercraft driving and first aid training in remote areas. The person must be able to lift loads when moving various materials.
The person will be required to work overtime and will be paid according to the rules of the collective agreement.
Transport costs (one return trip), accommodation and meals are covered by CEN for the duration of the stay.
