For those of you interested in Nordic and "Brrr" environments, we've got something to tide you over until the first (real) snow!

The UQAR Nordic Committee is organizing a Nordic 4 à 7 on November 21st. The event aims to introduce the UQAR community to Nordic environments.

On the menu:

• Introductions to organizations involved in northern research
• Playful presentations of field experiences in northern environments
• A quiz about the North!

We're also organizing a photo contest in two categories: "les beautés de la nordicité" and "l'envers du nord". From the Gaspé Peninsula to Nunavut, we're looking for your best and funniest shots of northern reality. If you'd like to take part in the contest, send your photos to uqar.comite.nordique@gmail.com.

Winners will be rewarded at Nordic 4 à 7! We invite you to join us and help promote Nordicity at UQAR.

There will be free pizza for the first 100 guests!
